Formed in the year 1986, RBV is today a 39 year old club rendering yeomen service in the field of Vocational Service, Club Service, Community Service, Youth Service and International Service. Rotarians have been serving society with meaningful community projects in their immediate surroundings, in the neighbouring districts as well as internationally. RBV has the sparkling mix of professionals with a judicious mix of seasoned Rotarians along with budding ones renowned for some of the trail blazing projects impacting and uplifting the community at large. Fellowship and Bonhomie being the standout feature of the club.
On 22nd February, 2026, Rotary Bangalore Vijayanagar was one of the supporting clubs for SAMBRAMA (RISE). On this occasion RBV was awarded for membership retention, for being the sponsored club. The occasion marked an hour long mesmerizing dance performance from the troupe " Miracle on Wheels" which comprised of 3 polio affected members who performed from their wheelchair. Rampur Vishwanath, along with fellow clubs from District 3192. was held at Rotary Youth Service Centre, Malleshwaram. Inter district joint meeting with 5 Rotary clubs, Rotary Friendship exchange team from Rotary Las Vegas, Rotary Bangalore West, Rotary Bangalore Sadhashivanagar, Rotary Jalahalli, Rotary Udyog were part of this Joint meeting. On 18th February, 2026, a speaker meeting on the topic "Living with Snakes" by Yashas Bharadwaj was held at Vijayanagar Club. Yashas Bharadwaj gave an educational and engaging talk on understanding snakes, coexisting safely with them, and learning from real-life rescue experiences.
