Formed in the year 1986, RBV is today a 39 year old club rendering yeomen service in the field of Vocational Service, Club Service, Community Service, Youth Service and International Service. Rotarians have been serving society with meaningful community projects in their immediate surroundings, in the neighbouring districts as well as internationally. RBV has the sparkling mix of professionals with a judicious mix of seasoned Rotarians along with budding ones renowned for some of the trail blazing projects impacting and uplifting the community at large. Fellowship and Bonhomie being the standout feature of the club.
On 25th April, 2026, Rotary Bangalore Vijayanagar celebrated Annet's Night at Robano Hall, Rajajinagar. It was an evening of fun and frolic with active participation of Annets, thanks to various games and activities devised by Rtn. Chinmayi and Rtn. Eshika. The event was moderated by Rtn. On 15th April 2026, Rotary Bangalore Vijayanagar had a certificate distribution ceremony at Nele, Laggere for Tailoring, computer basics, Tally course Completion. Sri Dinesh DGM (R) SBI was Chief Guest in RNVTC program distributed course completion certificates. RBV VP Rtn KM Vivekananda presided. Tailoring skill 40 trainees & Comp related skills 42 received the certificates.
On 3th April 2026, Rotary Bangalore Vijayanagar had a certificate distribution ceremony at Rotary Seva Kendra, Bapuji Nagar for women who have successfully completed the tailoring course. The highly encouraging feedback received from the beneficiaries indicated how effective our support has been in providing skills to so many women thus improving their self esteem besides giving them skill either to get employment or become self-employed.
